Birthday With The Mahomies Event A Great Success

Kansas City, MO (October 7, 2020) – The 15 and the Mahomies Foundation’s, Birthday With The Mahomies event raised $150,225 in grant funding which will be distributed to 15 charitable organizations.

The foundation is proud to announce that the event outpaced its goal of 1,500 donations with the total coming in at over 2,400 donations from 22 different states and three countries.

The event featured appearances from Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid and Chiefs players, as well as actor/producer Paul Rudd, songwriter/musician Quincy Jones and others.

“I want to thank all of the Mahomies that helped make this virtual event a great success,” said Patrick Mahomes. “The funds raised will go a long way in helping these deserving charities continue their important work.”

Each of the following charitable organizations will receive a $10,015 grant:

  2. Boys & Girls Club of East Texas
  3. Child Protection Center
  4. Children’s Advocacy Center of the South Plains
  5. Communities in Schools South Plains
  6. East Texas Food Bank
  7. Feed Northland Kids
  8. Harvesters
  9. Healing Pathway
  10. Kansas Children’s Service League
  11. KC Police Athletic League
  12. South Plains Food Bank
  13. Sunflower House
  14. Uncover KC
  15. Youth Volunteer Corps.
